My special interest in hand therapy commenced in Canberra in 2002, where I was lucky enough to work closely with a hand surgeon, and has continued ever since.
My deep passion is complex trauma to the hand, which I have pursued since commencing at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus. However, I also enjoy making custom splints, developing exercise programs, and giving advice and education for arthritis affecting the hands, or following any hand surgery.

I entered Physiotherapy because I felt that I could make a difference in the lives of ordinary people. I have a wide array of sporting interests, ranging from surfing, swimming, tennis and golf. I feel I can complement my physiotherapy knowledge with movement and training strategies I have learned from my intimate knowledge of these sports.
My philosophy is all about empowering the patient to ultimately help themselves through a combination of manual Physiotherapy techniques with a strong emphasis on building core stability and flexibility. Muscular aches and pains predominately emanate from poor postural patterns and movements. I aim to change this with a dynamic approach, relying on cutting edge evidence-based Physiotherapy and clinical experience.
I have gained a wide variety of experience in many diverse areas. I completed a two-year training program at Lismore Base Hospital, where I moulded my clinical knowledge. Recently, I have been working in private practices in Sydney until my move to Coffs Harbour this year.

Very often pelvic floor weakness can lead not only to embarrassing problems, but you may not realise that it contributes to a major cause of Low Back Pain, and can even be the reason behind why you cannot develop good Core/Abdominal strength. Appropriate advice, exercise strategies, and using Real Time Ultrasound Imaging can help remedy this annoying problem.
